Les variantes des morphèmes de la subordination en phrase simple en français de Côte d’Ivoire

International audienceThe article deals with three types of subordination markers within the clause: que 'that', which introduces complement or relative clauses; de 'to'/'of', which introduces infinitival verb phrases (these two morphemes also belong to standard French) and pour 'for'/'to', which also introduces infinitival verb phrases (and is specific to Ivory Coast French). The approach is a contrastive one, in that it systematically compares the relevant properties of Jula and Bawle which are in part close to and in part distinct from standard French. After confirming the existence in Ivory Coast French of certain tendencies of present-day colloquial metropolitan French as far as the extension of the use of que-complement clauses is concerned, the analysis focuses on the possible alternation between subordinate constructions introduced by these three types of marker and those which are not so introduced. The article then deals with a particular type of subordinate construction, that introduced by pour 'for'/'to', which does not exist in colloquial metropolitan French, and which makes it possible to complete a given verb by another in terms of the same verbal constituent. The action-process designated thereby is one and the same.L'étude porte sur trois morphèmes de subordination en phrase simple : que, introducteur de complétives ou de relatives ; de, introducteur de syntagmes verbaux à l'infinitif (ces deux morphèmes appartenant au français standard, ou commun) et pour, introducteur de syntagmes verbaux à l'infinitif (spécifique du français de Côte d'Ivoire). Elle s'inscrit dans une démarche contrastive, qui met en regard les propriétés en partie proches et en partie différentes du français standard, du dioula et du baoulé. Après la vérification de l'existence, en français de Côte d'Ivoire, de certains tendances du français commun actuel concernant l'extension de l'utilisation des complétives par que, l'analyse se centre sur la possibilité d'alternance de constructions subordonnées en phrase simple introduites par ces trois morphèmes subordonnants et de constructions subordonnées non introduites par ces morphèmes. Elle porte ensuite sur un type de subordination particulier, avec son morphème introducteur pour, qui n'existe pas en français « commun » et qui permet de compléter un verbe par un autre pour former un même constituant verbal, correspondant à un seul et même processus d'action
