International audienceIn this chapter, the calculation methods of the rating of a line will be first described. In a second part, we will present different devices used for DLR calculation. Then, a presentation of the problem of DLR forecast, and some proposed methods will be assessed. Finally, we will show the benefits of the DLR and its forecasts presented in the literature.
