International audienceDuring these last twenty years, the expansion of hypermarkets and the massive disappearance of small shops profoundly transformed the commercial organization of the rural areas. To face this change of context, small shopkeepers and distributors develop two categories of initiatives. The some follow the current evolutions; they correspond to an adaptation to the mobility of the consumers and to a research of a bigger competitiveness.
