International audienceDiffuse Optical Tomography (DOT) can be described as a highly multidimensional problem generating a huge data set with long acquisition/computational times. Biological tissue behaves as a low pass filter in the spatial frequency domain, hence compressive sensing approaches, based on both patterned illumination and detection, are useful to reduce the data set while preserving the information content.
