This thesis presents the studies carried out in the Cold Atoms team of the laboratoire CAR atUniversité Toulouse III Paul Sabatier. My work is part of the team’s axis of research on modulatedlattices and impact of classical chaos on the quantum behaviour of a particule. The aim of this work wasto develop all the tools required for this project.First, the whole experimental device has been built and produces Bose Einstein Condensate since may2015. we describe this new setup and cooling techniques that we implemented.The rest of the manuscript is devoted to studying the behaviour of a Bose Einstein condensate inan optical lattice created by the interference of two counter propagative laser beams.
