When developing an electric vehicle, it is essential to evaluate the deformation in and around the battery box for different crash scenarios, and it is necessary to develop a more advanced model that would take into account all the stress modes. Thanks to the excellent properties of Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) combine with high strength for more safety and weight reduction for less exhaust emission, AHSS is more and more commonly used in automobile industry.
