The neighborhood of Mira-sol, in the municipality of Sant Cugat del Vallès, has grown without giving importance, like many other urban areas, to the rivers that run over it. Two of these courses are the Torrent Xoriguer and the Torrent de Can Cabassa, two urban water courses subjected to a strong urban pressure and on which there is a strong citizen reivindication on making some action on them. The majority will of the neighbors is the burial of the torrents in order to avoid the problems of flood associated to them and the bad image they have.
