Hubungan Sanitasi Lingkungan dan Jarak Sumber Air dengan Kandang Sapi dengan Kejadian Diare di Desa Sruni Kecamatan Musuk Kabupaten Boyolali

In 2014, deaths caused by diarrhea increase forfold. Several factors that cause diarrhea are cowshed sanitations and water sources. Sanitation of cowsheds affect the cleanliness of farmer and the environment. Water sources is a factor that can transmit bacterial contamination through water. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea and to determine the relationship between water source distances with the incidence of diarrhea at Sruni. The research method used non-experimental quantitative method with correlational research design. The number of sample were 154 people who have meet the inclusion criteria of the study. Data were collected using questionnaires that were environmental sanitation of cow shed, water source distance, and incidence of diarrhea. Univariate analysis used descriptive statistical test to obtain the overview of environmental sanitation of cow shed, water source distance, and the incidence of diarrhea at Sruni. Bivariate analysis used chi square test to obtain relationship between environmental sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea and to obtain relationship between water source distances with the incidence of diarrhea at Sruni. The results of this study showed that there was a relationship between environmental sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea at Sruni with p value 0,000 < α 0,05 and there was a relationship between water source distance with the incidence of diarrhea at Sruni with p value 0,000 < α 0,05. The conclusion of this research that there is the relationship between environmental sanitation with diarrhea and there is correlation between water source distances with diarrhea. The results of the study are expected to modify the environment and utilize the waste well, so that the sanitation of the cowshed and water sources remain clean
