Many people struggle with odontophobia and intra-oral injection phobia. This is often because the injection of local anesthetics is associated with discomfort or pain. Lately, computerized anesthesia has been used as a replacement for the conventional syringe. The aim of this study was to investigate the patient's subjective sense of pressure, pain, and discomfort when receiving injections with the computerized method and the conventional injection method. A total of 20 participants without odontophobia were visually and audibly blinded and received a total of four injections, two on each side of the upper jaw in the oral vestibule.
