Published online July 2, 2010 in www.thelancet.comd In 1994, a delegation organised by the Council for Higher Education, occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), and the University of Oslo, Norway, resulted in continued (1995–2009) cooperation between the Department of General Practice and Community Medicine, University of Oslo, Institute of Community and Public Health (ICPH), Birzeit University, and Hebron University. Funding support reached NOK13 459000 (US$2224000) for running costs and scholarships.
