This paper proposes a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) video streaming method for Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET). Its video streaming uses Multiple Descriptive Coding (MDC) from multiple peers to stream to a single destination using distinct and separate route paths. This method hence spreads the load across multiple sources and multiple paths, hence resulting in an even spread of load and energy use. The novel method is called Energy-Efficient Video Streaming (EEVS) has two parts: an adaptive video data collection method and a streaming method to share the video across the network.
