Purpose Distal radius fractures (DRF) cause long-term functional limitations. A subgroup (21.2 %) will never fully recover after DRF. Therefore, it is important to consider the health status (HS) and (health-related) quality of life (HR)QOL of these patients. The aim of this systematic review was to describe (1) the HS and (HR)QOL outcomes following DRF, (2) sociodemographic, clinical, and psychosocial factors associated with HS and (HR)QOL, and to (3) evaluate the conceptualization of HS and (HR)QOL in these studies.
