This paper will discuss the DELFT-TYRE productline from the point of view of the engineer to optimize operationai cha¡acteristics of the tyre-vehicle system. Several examples are treated to illustrate the added value of sophisticated tyre modelling under combined slip conditions (braking in a turn) and the use of scaling factors in the underlying tyre model to analyze the effect of tyre-road friction on vehicie lane change behaviour
