Joint Project Optic Windmill (JPOW) is the leading exercise in Joint Air and Missile Defence (JAMD) with many international participants (US, NL, GE, IT, NO …). Since JPOW-3 (1998) TNO has supported the armed forces, both Dutch and foreign in JPOW. Typical JPOW objectives are the testing and development of new concepts, tactics and procedures in air and missile defence with existing and future capabilities. Simulation has proven to be an essential tool in the live, virtual and constructive environment of JPOW.
