Objective: To provide insight into developments in participation over the period 2008-2010 among Dutch people with physical disabilities and into their demands for additional participation. Design: Trend study with additional cross-sectional survey. Setting: Community-dwelling people with physical disabilities in the Netherlands. Participants: A sample of 1,868 (2008), 1,900 (2009), and 2,163 (2010) people (≥15 years) with mild, moderate or severe physical disability. Interventions: Not applicable.
