Quelle communication pour la société du risque? Des expérimentations méthodologiques pour développer une culture du risque

International audienceWe present the problematic of a research in progress, a Franco-Brazilian collaboration between four laboratories (PACTE and Cresson, in the French side and CETESB - the Environmental Agency of the State of São Paulo, the Public Health Faculty of the University of Sao Paulo in the Brazilian side). It aims to develop a culture of risk in exposed populations of risk areas in Sao Paulo and its region to make habitable these inhospitable areas. We first expose the problematic of this research centered on the notion of risk society that analyze this new living environment and explain why dwelling became problematic in risk areas. Then we clear the objective of this research namely the development of risk culture that can adapt to the risk society and enhance the habitability of risk areas. Finally, we will make a presentation of sensitive and participatory methods that we could try to achieve this objective.Nous présentons la problématique d'une recherche en cours, une collaboration franco-brésilienne entre quatre laboratoires (PACTE, CRESSON, côté français, et CETESB-l'agence environnementale de l'Etat de São Paulo, Faculté de Santé Publique de l'Université de Sao Paulo côté brésilien). Elle se propose de développer une culture du risque chez les populations exposées des zones à risque de Sao Paulo et sa région pour rendre plus habitables ces zones inhospitalières. Nous exposerons d'abord la problématique de la recherche centrée sur la notion de société du risque qui analyse ce nouveau milieu de vie des humains et explique pourquoi l'habiter y est devenu problématique. Puis nous justifierons l'objectif central de cette recherche, c'est-à-dire le développement d'une culture du risque capable de s'adapter à la société du risque pour renforcer l'habitabilité. Enfin nous ferons une présentation des méthodes sensibles et participatives que nous pourrions expérimenter pour nous rapprocher de cet objectif
