Identification and quatification of propolis phenolic compounds was performed by validated HPLC method. Hydrogels pH was measured by pH-meter. Viscosity and rheological properties of semisolid systems were determined by rheometer. In vitro release studies were performed by modified Franz type diffusions cells system. Methyl-β-cyclodextrin improved solubility of relatively lipohilic propolis phenolic acids in purified water. Increasing the concentration of poloxamer 407 in the hydrogel, increases the viscosity of semisolid system‘s and decreases the release of propolis phenolic compounds from hydrogels
