The objective of the research: To evaluate the prevalence of work-related stress and burnout syndrome among family physician residents. The aim‘s of the study: to assess prevalence of burnout syndrome and occurrences of it‘s components; to analyze the associations between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction; to assess the associations between burnout syndromes and individual factors (physical activity, physical and mental health, addictions and eating habits). Method: The anonymous questionnaire was carried out from October to November, in 2016. Survey included General Health Questionnaire, Maslach’s Burnout Inventory, Perceived Stress Scale, questions about smoking and alcohol using, Rapid Assessment of Physical Activity Questionnaire, Mindful Eating Questionnaire. Sixty two family physician residents were questioned (respond rate 88.57 %). Statistical data analysis was carried out using Statistical Package for Social Sciences SPSS (20.0 version). The hypotheses about sign dependency has been verified using chi square (χ2) and z criteria. The significant difference has been considered when p<0.05. Results: Fifty five females and 7 males were participated in a survey. All of them were family medicine resident physicians. Most of them were first year residents. The respondent’s tendency to burnout at work is below than average, and resistance to burnout - higher than average. Significant correlation and greater tendency of burnout at work is associated with increased sleepiness during the day, poorer general, physical and psychological well-being: anxiety and depression, social difficulties and self-doubt (p<0.01; p<0.05)). The more experienced at work were more resistant to stress and burnout (p<0.05). Stress and low job satisfaction increase the risk for burnout.
