Ebola has been a known virus since the 1970s and has been responsible for killing thousands of people. In the most recent outbreak during 2014 and 2015 many international aid organizations attempted to lend help. The World Health Organization developed a protocol to direct WHO affiliated burial teams on the proper ways to conduct a dignified burial that will help to decrease disease transmission. The protocol focuses on Christian and Muslim specific burials and does not address any other religions or regional burial customs. The rules of the protocol will be observed and critiqued. Emphasis will be made on what worked well and what in the policy needed to be reevaluated. Finally, it will address recommendations for future use of the policy....
