Karakteristik Penderita Kanker Serviks Di RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang Tahun 2010

ABSTRACBackground : Cervical cancer is a Malignancy of gynecologic that is often found and most of patients come at an advanced stage that makes the treatment is less satisfactory. This study aims to investigate the characteristics and risk factor of cervical cancer patients at Dr. Kariadi hospital.Methods : Design of study was descriptive by using medical records of the cervical cancer patient who meet inclusion criteria.Result : From 137 cervical cancer patient recorded, 107 patients are in stage IIIB.It was also found that based on the histopatological type, the epidermoid was found in 91 patients.Conclusion : most of patients come at an advanced stage with epidermoid type and low parity is a protective factor cervical cancer
