Studi Komparatif Model Pemecahan Masalah Dan Pengajuan Masalah Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Dan Pemahaman Konsep Kimia Siswa SMA

The purpose of this study is analyze: (1) the differences of learning motivation and concept understanding in chemistry at the topic of acid-based solution between group of student who study with problem posing and solving learning model, (2) the differences of learning motivation in chemistry at the topic of acid-based between group of student who study with problem posing and solving learning model, (3) the differences of concept understanding in chemistry at the topic of acid-based between group of student who study with problem solving learning model and group of student who study with posing learning model. This study was queasy experiment by using posttest only control design. The population of this study was 150 students and sample of this study who participated was 99 students. Two main instruments were students' learning motivation and concept understanding. Data were analyzed in two steps, they were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics analysis. To examine the hypothesis, multivariate variants analysis with MANOVA one way was used. The result of study was stated below. First, there were the differences between learning motivation and chemistry concept understanding significantly between group of student who study with problem posing and solving learning model (F = 129.5 dan p<0.05). Second, there werelearning motivation diffrences between group of student who study with problem leading and solving learning model Fhitung = 211.392 dan p<0.05), Third, there was the chemistry concept understanding differences between group of student who study with problem posing and solving learning model Fhitung = 36.015 dan p<0.05). Based on the result of study, it can be recommended that learning model of problem posing can be applied as an alternative learning model in order to improve the students' learning motivation and chemistry concept understanding
