Perolehan Telur Nyamuk Aedes Aegypti Per Ovitrap Yang Dibubuhi Temephos Di Kelurahan Rawajati, Jakarta Selatan

A study on the number of Aedes aegypti eggs collected from temephos treated ovitrap was carried out from November 1998 until February 1999 in Rawajati area South Jakarta. The selected area were RT 02, 03 and 04 in the RW 04. The area were divided into center and buffer area. The center area was comprises of 25 houses. The temephos treated ovitraps were placed indoor and outdoor in each selected house. Each ovitrop contained 1 ppm temephos. Larval and adults Ae.aegypri mosquito were collected as ell as health education was conducted during the study. Temephos treated ovitrap were also set at the buffer area but no larval and adult Ae.aegypti collection was done. While in the buffer area no such activities were done. As control area RT 08 and 11 at the same RW were chosen. Data collection were done 13 times (replicates) with an interval of 9 days. The results showed that the mean of the mosquitos eggs collected in the treated area were 38 eggs per ovitrap indoor and outdoor were 34.1 eggs. While in tlte control area tlte same number of Ae.aegypti eggs were collected (33.4 eggs). Thus is could be concluded that the number of eggs collected indoor and outdoor were significanly different as well as beteen tlte center and tlte buffer areas
