The pre-experiment research with the purposes to describe practicality, effectiveness, and effect size of SiMaYang type II for upgrading the students\u27 mental model and concept mastery of atomic theory development had been done by using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research result indicated that: percentage of the implementation and the students\u27 response about the application of SiMaYang type II learning model had high criteria. Result of data analysis indicated that the students\u27 activity during the learning and the teacher\u27s ability in processing of the learning had high category. The effect size indicated that learning with SiMaYang type II was practically and effective to be applied for upgrading the students\u27 ...
