Hubungan Perilaku Caring Perawat Dengan Stres Hospitalisasi Pada Anak Usia Toddler Di Irina E Blu Rsup Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado

Absract: Toddler age children vulnerable to stress because their ability to overcome and managing stress is yet limited. Hospitalization can become a stressor for children, making them experience stress of hospitalization. The stress of hospitalization of a child is influenced by several factors, one of them being the caring behaviour of the nurse. A nurse behaving caringly can lessen the stress or patient trauma during hospitalization. The purpose of this research is to know the relations between a nurse\u27s caring behavior and the stress of hospitalization on children of toddler age at Irina E BLU RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. The design of this research is analytic descriptive with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used is accidental sample of as many cas 30 people. The analysis of data used the chi square test with help SPSS. The result of the statistic test showed that p value = 0.032 < α value = 0.05 (Ho rejected). Conclusion of this research that there was correlation between the nurse\u27s caring behaviour and the stress of hospitalization on children of toddler age at Irina E BLU RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Good behavior of the caring nurse minimizes the stress of hospitalization on children
