Hubungan Status Pemberian Asi Dan Kelengkapan Imunisasi Dengan Kejadian Diare Pada Anak Di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto

Diarrhea is one of problem in public health in Indonesia, it can be seen from the number of illness and mortality rate in toddlers. The incidence in Aster wards Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Public Hospital from September 2011-Februari 2012 showed 23,4% from 1125 children experienced diarrhea. The method of this research was analytic observational through case control research design. Experiment group came from the mothers with diarrhea children, while control group was mothers with bronkopneumonia children treated in Aster ward. Researcher used univariate analysis, chi square test in bivariate analysis with SPSS. Chi square experiment revealed that there was no significant relationship between breastfeeding (p=0,472) and completeness of immunization (p=0,432) of the incident of diarrhea in Aster ward Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokwerto Public Hospital. It can be concluded that children who are exclusively breastfeeding had smaller risk of diarrhea than children who did not exclusively breastfeeding, while children who had complete immunization showed smaller risk of diarrhea than children who had not complete immunization Keywords : Exclusive breastfeeding, completeness of immunization, diarrhea
