Peran Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD) dalam Monitoring Pelaksanaan Kebijakan Pemerintah Desa

: Realizing the importance of Village Consultative Body (VCB), every village shall have the Village Consultative Body which is established by the Government based on Autonomous Region Regulation. But the institution is not functioning proportionally and it only serves as the right-hand institution of the village's chief. The efforts of building and developing villagers' life are considered as important. This is due to the increasing population in the countryside and community participation in development activities. This study was a qualitative research with method of collecting data through observation and interviews. The research revealed that the role of consultative body in Landungsari village had a maximum role in the village administrative services and in the village government policies to add or improve public facilities.
