The Crowd Sourced Humanities

Our proposal is to create an in-depth Digital Humanities resource base called D.I.Y. Humanities. Many people within the University are unsure of what the Digital Humanities are. Moreover, the technology makes them fearful of the unknown. We are suggesting a crowd source collection of resources. Each discipline would have their own section, and could add to at any time by students and faculty. In theory, this resource guide would aid scholars who are curious about the Digital Humanities by providing tools, projects, tutorials, and videos about how and why technology is being used within their fields of study. DH is an umbrella term that is difficult to understand on its own and this resource would provide access to materials that might aid in the development of future projects and research
