The impact of the public library on business success: An analysis based on medium-sized businesses in Ontario

A survey was conducted of Ontario medium-sized businesses to investigate the impact of the public library on business success. It was found that 45% of the businesses used the library; 58% of these users sought the help of library staff; and 90% of these users were successful in their library searching. A significant relationship was found between public library use and business success, with those who used the library being more successful.
