Add to ORKGIn this paper we show and discuss some examples of the use of a Retinex filter provided by GIMP, the GNU image manipulation program for X window systems, for enhancing the images obtained by underwater photography. The tool seems suitable for applications in the processing of images recorded during the underwater automated surveying made by drones
