The settlement of Campestrin Grignano Polesine is located approximately 50 km from the North-western Adriatic coast and 10 km East from Frattesina. Currently it is the most ancient site with evidences of Baltic Amber workshops in the Mediterranean area (13th\u201312th c. BC). Since 2012 a research on provenance, technology and typology of the amber of Campestrin has been carried out and here the preliminary results are discussed. A huge amount of sub-centimeter splinters and a more reduced number of blocks of raw material, semi-finished and finished products - including \u201cTiryns type\u201d beads - have been found. 20 elements were analyzed by infrared spectroscopy and they are composed by succinate.
