A research project into pre-consumer interventions to establish how they enhance student creativity and inform curriculum content. The findings presented at this conference informed the curriculum content for a new Sustainable Design Module with delivery guidance at Fashion Design BA Level for first year students at Northbrook College who commissioned and funded the research. Results showed that the sooner students were introduced to these practices, the sooner they would naturally embed them into their own practice. Follow ups with alumni demonstrated they were bringing these practices into industry when they gained employment.
