Orthodontic mini-implants have shown to be an extremely useful tool in contemporary orthodontics in skeletal anchorage, and in recent years are the subject of several studies attempting to demonstrate their effectiveness and usefulness, especially as aiding mechanical and orthodontic movements considered complex.
