This Science Tools Development Implementation Plan discusses overarching goals, strategies, and activities, including a science and research agenda to ensure that U.S. EPA brings the best science to decision making around environmental justice issues. The science and research activities described in this plan build upon discussions and recommendations from “Strengthening Environmental Justice and Decision-Making: A Symposium on the Science of Disproportionate Environmental Health Impacts” (March 17-19, 2010) and the workshop on “Analytical Methods for Assessing the Environmental Justice Implications of Environmental Regulations” (June 9-10, 2010).
