The purpose of this research project is to examine and discuss the inadequate delivery of health care to Aboriginal people in Canada. This paper will utilize Aboriginal health research literature and health data to examine Aboriginal health status, and the mechanism of health care delivery for Aboriginal people. Factors such as differing perspectives about health, the power imbalance within the health system, language and culture barriers, and relationship development will be discussed. Recommendations to improve health outcomes will be presented. --P. 2.The original print copy of this thesis may be available here: http://wizard.unbc.ca/record=b174112
