Anchors made from fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites can be used to delay the propagation of debonding cracks and enhance the deformability of FRP-to-concrete bonded interfaces. This paper presents a model for FRP anchors that is calibrated from tests on FRP-to-concrete joints anchored with FRP anchors. The anchor model is incorporated in a partial interaction model in order to simulate the behaviour of such anchored joints. Simulations of the relationship between load and slip compare favourably with tests results. Simulations also accurately represent the distribution of strain along the length of the FRP plate for FRP-to-concrete joints anchored with a single as well as multiple FRP anchors.
