Aring is located in Gua Musang, Kelantan. Aring consists of three formations that are Telong Formation, Koh Formation and Nilam Marble Formation. The age of the Telong Formation is Upper Permian-Upper Triassic. The Telong Formation in the study area consists of shale interbedded sandstone, claystone interbedded sandstone, shale interbedded sandstone and siltstone as well as limestone interbedded sandstone. The fossils that I found in the study area are Costaturia pahangensis, Neoschizodus ovatus and Anadonlophora sp. Castatoria pahangensis, Neoschizodus ovatus and Anadontophora sp. are classified as Phylum Mollusca which is bivalvia. The age of the fossils is Middle Triassic.
