Municipal solid waste mate rial (MSW) is one of the major contributor to the waste generated every year. According to World Bank group, globally MSW of 1.3 billion tonnes is produced every year and is expected reach a whopping 2.2 billion tonnes by 2025. In this study, an attempt ha s been made to determine the suitable interface of geosynthetic liner and cover in designing the landfill for interface shear strength perspective.
