Add to ORKGThis paper is mainly aimed at finding information about the role of Kyai in Javanese Language Maintenance. It is done by studying a case study on seven Kyai/Nyai in Semarang. The writer uses two observation techniques by using questionnaire and direct interview to the respomdents. The writer uses two methods in analizing the data, qualitatiive method to describe the role of Kyai in maintaining Javanese language and quantitative method to illustrate the quantity of the data.
