Access to new information and communication technologies, especially the internet, is now a tool that contributes to the development of reading and writing. With the introduction of digital culture as a pedagogical practice, students are led to use the internet as a support for teaching / learning content, which challenges them to read more and more through hypertexts. Therefore, our objective was to analyze the performance of the students of a class of the 9th grade of elementary school regarding reading on screen.
