The thesis contains information for understanding the terms religion and religiosity, as both terms have different meanings, of course, to understand how they develop in everyday life. Religion is a human activity that often spans beliefs and practices on issues of existential, moral and supernatural kind; It is an institution that supports the exercise of certain beliefs and ceremonies. Philosophically, religion can be a lifestyle, a way towards the fullness, a fullness that starts from the moment that awareness of it is charged. In a broader sense, it is also used to refer to an obligation of conscience leading to the fulfillment of a duty. Religiosity is a value that not only has the cultural tradition. But is the result of internal reflection of the individual. It is the way of expression through rituals, prayers, signs and celebrations, which are part of the result of the special relationship with God; and carried live by doing good. Most dimensions of religiosity are related, that is, people often attend religious services also tend to have a spiritual belief and full life. Then this thesis describes the thinking or the way young people think of an indigenous community about religion and religiosity; also thinking of two groups of young religious Catholics and evangelicals and their main leaders of the community.La tesis contiene información que permite comprender los términos religión y religiosidad, ya que ambos términos tienen significados distintos, desde luego, para comprender cómo se desarrollan en la vida cotidiana. La religión es una actividad humana que suele abarcar creencias y prácticas sobre cuestiones de tipo existencial, moral y sobrenatural; es una institución que respalda el ejercicio de ciertas creencias y ceremonias. Filosóficamente, la religión puede ser un estilo de vida, un camino hacia la plenitud, una plenitud que inicia desde el mismo instante que se cobra conciencia de la misma. En un sentido más amplio, también se utiliza para referirse a una obligación de la conciencia que lleve al cumplimiento de un deber. Religiosidad es un valor que no solamente tiene por tradición cultural. Sino que es fruto de la reflexión interior del individuo. Es la forma de expresión por medio de los ritos, oraciones, signos y celebraciones, que son parte del resultado de la relación particular con Dios; y lleva a vivir haciendo el bien. La mayoría de las dimensiones de la religiosidad están relacionadas, es decir, personas a que a menudo asisten a servicios religiosos también tienden a tener una vida espiritual y llena de creencias. Entonces, esta tesis describe el pensamiento o la forma como piensan los jóvenes de una comunidad indígena sobre la religión y la religiosidad; además el pensamiento de dos grupos de jóvenes religiosos entre católicos y evangélicos y sus principales líderes de la comunidad
