In recent years conservation research conducted by different naturalists and scientists have focused on preserving the flora, since it is a fundamental part of balanced ecosystems. In Ecuador, the level of endemism of Orchidaceae is high, so investigate alternative conservation is an important tool in order to prolong and ensure their permanence.
