The exclusive charmonium production process in pp\uaf annihilation with an associated \u3c00 meson pp\uaf \u2192J=\u3c8\u3c00 is studied in the framework of QCD collinear factorization. The feasibility of measuring this reaction through the J=\u3c8 \u2192 e\ufee 12 decay channel with the AntiProton ANnihilation at DArmstadt (PANDA \uaf ) experiment is investigated. Simulations on signal reconstruction efficiency as well as the background rejection from various sources including the pp\uaf \u2192 \u3c0\ufe\u3c0 12\u3c00 and pp\uaf \u2192 J=\u3c8\u3c00\u3c00 reactions are performed with PANDAROOT, the simulation and analysis software framework of the PANDA \uaf experiment.
