Das Thema dieser Arbeit umfasst Xyloglucane and Rhamnogalaturonan II (RG-II). Beide sind fucosylierte Bestandteile der Zellwand und spielen eine wichtige Rolle während der pflanzlichen Entwicklung. Das Ziel bei Xyloglucanen war ein besseres Verständnis ihrer Modifikationen oder Abbau zu erhalten. Ein spezifischer Aspekt betraf Informationen über Enzyme, die bei der Entfernung von L-Fucose beteiligt sind.
