The purpose of this research is to analyze the teaching strategies use by the teacher in order to determine their effects on development of the speaking skills in students of eleventh grade at Heroes y Martires de la Reforma Institute in Masaya. This research follows the mixed approach quantitative and qualitative; with the use of questionnaires as a quantitative technique, interviews and observations as a qualitative technique.
