Résumé: La distribution des services de santé aux communautés des Premières Nations implique un transfert du contrôle fédéral vers les communautés autochtones, contrôle qui est transféré par le biais de la Politique du transfert de la santé. Le gouvernement déclare que sa Politique du transfert de la santé est conçue pour répondre au désir de longue date des personnes autochtones de se réapproprier une plus grande part de leur autodétermination et ce, dans tous les secteurs de leur vie.
