Organizational attitudes of employees can be influenced by organizational practices, including effective parental leave policies. The demonstrated preferences for fair, inclusive, and more progressive work-life policies (Gault & Lovell, 2006) suggest that updating and broadening current parental leave policy is a concrete way in which employers may increase favorable employee attitudes, such as job satisfaction. The hypothesis proposed is that the more satisfaction employees have in respect to their organization’s parental leave policy, the more positive their attitudes toward the organization will be.
