The addition of propene to cyclohexa‐1,3‐diene has been studied between 512 and 638°K at pressures between 70 and 640 torr. The products are endo‐ and exo‐5‐methylbicyclo [2.2.2] oct‐2‐ene, and their formations are second order. The rate constants (in 1./mole‐sec) are given by (Formula Presented.) (Formula Presented.)
