This work is devoted to an elasticity problem on macrodomains separated by a thin heterogeneous layer with a periodic in-plane structure. The asymptotic behavior and effective elastic properties of such structures are being studied and the limit elasticity problem, together with the Robin transmission condition across the interface, obtained. Numerical and analytical solutions are being compared to illustrate the results
