Research projects over the years have sought to determine the most effective method for helping students learn science concepts. Since there is often a gap between research and implantation in a classroom, this study was done to provide a bridge between that gap. In this study, it was not necessary to take new methods of teaching chemistry into a classroom, which is often difficult to implement. Instead, the effectiveness of two methods of teaching chemistry were determined for a small group of general chemistry students.
