For teacher preparation institutions, the design and implementation of an online assessment system is a critical component in the accreditation process. Commercial programs abound but may not meet the unique needs of units, nor capture subtleties that make the unit stand out from others. This session will explain design elements of an in-house electronic assessment system and share techniques for moving faculty toward a culture of assessment
